CRISIS and WISE Roles
The clinician may meet with the child and family in a community setting or in the home. A mobile clinician has a flexible work schedule to respond to community needs and possess innovative therapeutic services to children, youth and families in their homes and other community locations. Our creative and effective mental health service interventions include crisis intervention and extended stabilization support as well as long-term, team-based services. Emphasis is on achieving incredible outcomes with children, youth, and families by actively partnering with them along with their natural and community services and supports to achieve long term safety and stability in our neighborhoods and communities. Once all family members are ready to move forward, the clinician, youth and parent(s) then work together to develop a plan for safety and stabilization that will allow the child to safely remain in the most normative environment possible (preferably the child's own home).
One year experience serving children and/or families (mental health, social services, education, etc.)
