The Mobile Recruiter contributes to the growth and success of Family Behavioral Health at Catholic Community Services by proactively driving customized recruiting strategies and delivering an exceptional experience to candidates and hiring managers alike in a fast-paced, busy environment. This is full-cycle talent management utilizing online and in-person recruiting, Applicant tracking system, electronic on-boarding, and orientation.

Responsibilities

Recruitment and Outreach

  • Own and drive professional recruiting strategies and results, partnering with hiring teams to develop and execute customized recruiting solutions that meet business and strategic needs.
  • Create outreach activities to enhance diversity and to ensure that we reflect the populations that we serve.
  • Full-cycle recruiting from start to finish: partnering with hiring managers to create a strong job description, sourcing, interviewing, offering, negotiating and closing.
  • Play a key role in recommending recruiting ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long-range growth of our organization, implementing new approaches and fine-tuning those currently in place.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee training and development initiatives projects such as resume writing, mock interviews, career search and networking skills primarily for our employees and in partnership with community based organizations
  • As a trusted advisor, train and engage hiring managers and selected team members.
  • Engage and successfully recruit passive candidates by leveraging effective marketing techniques, as well as networking and maintaining relationships.
  • As part of a small, close-knit HR team, assist with other types of people projects/initiatives, as opportunities arise.
  • Perform basic policy interpretation, benefit eligibility and coverages, training opportunities and requirements, and general workplace questions.
  • Conduct new employee orientation, 30-60-90 day check-ins for new employees and managers, and conduct exit interviews.

Administrative

  • Onboarding new employees.
  • Prepare reports, including recruitment, retention, and turnover metrics.
  • Assure File and documentation management of employee personnel and recruitment files are efficiently and legally maintained.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree. 
  • At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience recruiting in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work setting.
  • Must be able to travel to Pierce, Thurston, Mason, Kitsap, Grays Harbor, Lewis counties.  As well as Tacoma and Portland.
  • Must have valid Washington State Drivers license and insurance.
  • Demonstrated excellent oral presentation and written communication skills, including group facilitation, career fairs, workforce panels, new employee orientations and trainings.
  • Experience developing and maintaining network of contacts with third party vendors.
  • Experience with online Applicant Tracking software. Icims a plus
  • Ability to demonstrate innovative and successful recruiting especially in the areas of social networking.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations governing human resource actions and activities.
  • Strong administrative skills in recruitment record keeping and tracking, follow-up with candidates and managers.
  • Ability to meet and deal effectively with employees, managers, candidates, clients and the general public.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, and work effectively under deadline pressure.
  • Proven commitment to recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce.
  • Demonstrate the necessary attitudes, knowledge and skills to deliver culturally competent services and work effectively in multi-cultural situations. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to the preservation of a workplace that embraces diversity and inclusivity.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced level of computer skills including the use of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Contribute to the mission of Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
