  • Overview

    The CCS-NW Recovery Centers provide a full continuum of outpatient chemical dependency treatment services. CCS provides treatment to youth, adults, and their families. The CCS-NW Recovery Centers are a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where all are treated with dignity and respect, and where clients and their families become empowered to make healthy changes to stop the destruction of alcoholism and other drug dependencies. CCS emphasizes a broad range of approaches to the treatment of alcoholism and other drug dependencies, striving to serve those most in need. The philosophy of CCS-NW Recovery Centers is that treatment is most effective when it is “family-centered”.

     

    Incumbent is a Masters level CDP who provides substance use disorder treatment to individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders and maintains program standards.

     

    F/T, 37.5 hour per week.

     

    Pay is $22.95 - $24.10/hr. DOE, plus excellent holiday / vacation / sick pay and health benefits!

     

    For internal candidates/union positions only: Compensation is set by agreed to language in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between CCSNW & SEIU 1199NW and determined based on experience.

    Responsibilities

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    Clinical Responsibilities:

    • Manage treatment caseloads, provide individual therapy and facilitate group treatment as assigned.
    • Provide assessment, intakes in group programs, and referral of clients to appropriate programs.
    • Provide case consultation services to mental health clinicians working in community mental health.
    • Provide co-occurring therapeutic sessions to identified clients as needed.
    • Participate in the integration of Mental Health, Behavioral Health, and SUD treatment at the agency.

    Case Management Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.
    • Utilize community base resources to support adult client’s treatment process by referring clients to mental health resources, crisis intervention, vocational specialists, education programs, recreation resources, and couples and/or family therapy, etc.
    • Coordinate case management services for clients within assigned programs.
    • Facilitate weekly staffing of client’s in caseload.
    • Monitor urinalysis as required by the program.
    • Provide treatment reports and consultation to referring agencies, probation, CPS, Family Treatment Court, Adult Drug Court, Physicians, etc.

    File/Program Maintenance Responsibilities:

    • Maintain files in accordance with WAC requirements, agency standards and accreditation standards as they apply.
    • Delegate and coordinate appropriate work with CDP I, CDP-T, treatment aides and other interns.
    • Provide support for professional development to treatment aides and interns.
    • Meet with Program Manager and/or Supervisor on a regular basis to review caseload and clinical decisions.

    Access to and protection of PHI:

    • Responsible for upholding a culture of privacy and security in highly confidential work    environment (HIPAA covered entity service area).
    • Complies with all CCSWW policies and procedures that involve access to and safeguarding of client Protected Health Information (all forms).

     

    Other work-related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM:

    • Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP) Certification with the WA Dept. of Health.
    • Masters’ Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field.
    • Holds an Active Agency Affiliate certification with the WA State DOH or willing and able to obtain one.
    • Experience working with clients in a licensed chemical dependency treatment agency.
    • Proficient computer skills.

    • Support and contribute to a creative, collaborative and respectful environment that promotes teamwork.
    • Demonstrates the necessary attitudes, knowledge and skills to deliver culturally competent services and work effectively in multi-cultural situations.
    • Criminal History Background Checks are required prior to employment.

    PREFERRED:

    • Experience working with mental health clients.
    • Licensed Mental Health Counselor or qualified to become licensed with the WA State DOH.
