Noel House Programs (NHP) provides safe, comfortable shelter for a diverse community of women, particularly those most vulnerable. The Women's Referral Center (WRC) is a program of NHO that provides women with nighlty shelter referrals, dinner, and general resource referrals every night of the year. Referrals and related services are provided between 6:00pm and 9:00pm. The WRC is located at Angeline's Day Cener in the YWCA Opportunity Place building. There is no limit to the duraction or number of times that a woman may access WRC services. The WRC assists between 160 and 220 women every night.
The WRC Lead Advocate facilitates the shelter referral process at the Women's Referral Center. As the Lead Advocate, this position is responsible for the smooth-functioning of the program and is the point person for WRC staff, St. Mark's staff, and volunteers. This position provides direct service to single adult homeless women in need of shelter. On-site training is provided.
This is a part-time position, Saturday and Sunday from 5:30pm to 9:00pm.

This position requires the employee to work in an environment where there may be exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious material. Working conditions may include interruptions, interactions with angry persons, and exposure to computer CRTs.
