Parke Studios serves mentally ill former residents of Noel House Programs, women moving from a long-term stay in a homeless shelter into permanent housing at the Josephinum Apartments. Primary tasks of the position include: outreach and engagement, on-going intensive case-management, community activities and programming, and advocacy.
The Coming Home program provides intensive individualized support for people who have been homeless in the City of Seattle. Services are focused on the transition into permanent housing and the first year of tenancy. The Case Manager will assist tenants in making and sustaining reliable, positive community-based support networks; in learning or relearning daily living skills required for permanent housing; and in becoming active, empowered members of their residential environment.
This is a full time Case Management position that works with two different programs inside the Josephinum apartment building: the Parke Studios Program, and the Coming Home program. Both Parke Studios and Coming Home serve a small number of residents (currently around 30 total) within the larger 221 total units at the Josephinum.
