Status: Full time, 37.5 hours a week

Incumbent serves as the Clinical Director for the Recovery Center programs in CCS Northwest including all service locations in Whatcom, Skagit and Snohomish Counties. The Clinical Director partners with administrators of Behavioral Health and Managed Care Organizations, Healthcare entities, clinics, and hospital systems in order to develop, and oversee integrated behavioral health treatment.  Incumbent is responsible for the direct supervision of the Recovery Center Manager in Snohomish and Recovery Center Supervisors in Skagit and Whatcom Counties, as well as providing overall clinical guidance and support for SUD leadership positions within the Northwest region; additionally, this includes ensuring the overall clinical performance and ongoing training of the Recovery Center clinicians. Incumbent oversees appropriate responses to clinical cases, including crises.  Incumbent has primary responsibility for complaints management, program-level quality management, and providing CCS presence in the community, e.g. represents Recovery Center at ASO and other community meetings.

  • Masters degree in social sciences or related field
  • WA State SUD certification
  • 2 years’ experience providing supervision to leadership positions within the SUD/related field.
  • 4 years clinical experience in substance use disorder treatment setting.
  • Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, Community partners and professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of addiction science, best practices for substance use disorder treatment, and trauma informed therapy.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong facilitation, clinical and team building skills.
  • Ability to counsel others, resolve disputes, and mediate conflicts.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the preservation of a workplace that embraces diversity and inclusively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to SUD treatment that is client-centered, solution-focused, and strengths-based.
  • Demonstrates the necessary attitudes, knowledge and skills to deliver culturally competent services and work effectively in multi-cultural situations.
