CCS/NW is currently offering a $1,000 hiring bonus to fill our Housing Case Manager position, until position is filled.


Hiring Bonus Criteria: $500 on first paycheck and $500 upon successful completion of a 90-day New Hire Introductory Period.



F/T, 37.5 hours per week, union position.  (2 FT openings)


Hiring Pay Range:

$21.01/hr. - $22.06/hr. DOE, plus excellent holiday / vacation / sick pay and health benefits!


For internal candidates/union positions only: Compensation is set by agreed to language in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between CCSNW & SEIU 1199NW and determined based on experience.


Incumbent will be responsible for assessment, placement and advocacy of and for persons with HIV/AIDS who are requesting or utilizing housing services of Catholic Community Services.   Incumbent will work with persons from diverse backgrounds, cultures and socioeconomic circumstances.  Incumbent is expected to operate with considerable latitude and the application of sound, professional judgment.  Incumbent integrates their work with the interdisciplinary staff of Catholic Community Services, in addition to Lifelong Aids Alliance.

  • Conduct intakes to assess client needs to determine the appropriate type of housing. Assessment is conducted in coordination with the Housing Team Leader and HIV/AIDS case managers at Lifelong.
  • Complete charting in accordance with charting guidelines and legal requirements and assure client confidentiality.
  • Assist clients with the implementation of individualized housing plans on an ongoing basis.
  • Assist clients to access appropriate, affordable housing.
  • Facilitate the placement of clients into scattered site housing facilities, working closely with client, building managers and housing providers.
  • Maintain home visit schedules with clients placed in CCS Permanent Supportive Housing and at least monthly contact with clients who are receiving housing assistance or are in TBRA or Shelter Plus Care housing. Facilitate meetings with clients, landlords, case managers, and/or other service providers, as needed.
  • Ensure that clients and landlords are aware of rules and regulations specific to the housing programs and provide mediation when conflicts arise.
  • Track and report on client activity including updated progress notes and ensure all required program forms are completed and all required signatures are obtained.
  • Update database and manual of housing resources and programs for low-income people disabled by HIV/AIDS.
  • Transports clients or arranges transportation for clients as needed.
  • HMIS – Incumbent is expected to develop proficiency in maintaining accurate client records in HMIS, the client tracking software application used by programs throughout the agency.  Proficiency includes entry of data into the client record, the editing of information as needed, and the printing of reports within HMIS.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.



  • BA in social services or related field + direct service experience in case management or related duties OR 4 years direct service experience in case management or related duties.
  • Ability to work with and/or knowledge of working with homeless and HIV/AIDS.
  • Reliable transportation, WA State Driver’s License & proof of current automobile insurance.
  • Proof of acceptable driving record (Driving Abstract-Full driving record required).
  • Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, Community partners and professionals.
  • Requires time management and interpersonal skills.

  • Criminal History Background Checks are required prior to employment.


  • Relevant experience in mental health, counseling and HIV/AIDS.
  • Working knowledge of anti-retroviral strategy.
  • Knowledge of substance abuse.
  • Bilingual.
