Part-time position starting at $19.34/hr. (D.O.E)
Position Description
The Key holder lives on site and is available in person or by phone when the staff is not on site.
The Key Holder responds to a request from a tenant to unlock his/her apartment; performs basic safety checks of the buildings; and other observation duties as designated by the Housing Manager. Key Holder NEVER gives out their Master Key under any circumstances. Master Key must be accessible only to the designated Key Holder and no other family members.
Provide lock out service coverage as needed, and when available. (It is recognized that the Key Holder will be away from the property at times. A tenant may have to wait to be let into their building and/or apartment if the Key Holder is away from the property.} Responsibly respond to emergencies on the property, as should any other responsible tenant.
Job Conditions
This position requires the employee to work in an environment where there may be exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious material. Other exposures could include cleaning supplies, bedbugs, chemicals involved in pest control, paint and other materials used in building maintenance, building temperature fluctuations, dust, noise, and odors. Working conditions include interruptions, crisis response, and regular interactions with individuals who are dealing with issues of chemical dependency and/or mental illness, or are experiencing anger or frustration.

NOTE: The duties of this position and this agreement may be canceled at any time. Reasons for cancellation could include no longer needing the position, conflict of interest, and/or inability to carry out the above mentioned duties. The stipend may be re-adjusted with no less than 30 days notice.
