This is a professional position providing therapeutic interventions to individuals with community based intensive behavioral health, crisis response, and community safety needs. Therapeutic services provided by a Clinician II include: office, home, street, and shelter based behavioral health services that include crisis intervention and on-going supports as well as long-term, team-based behavioral health services to individuals.
The Clinician II is the primary behavioral health treatment provider assigned to an individual. The Clinician II is a lead clinical support, completing the intake/assessment and prescribing mental health treatment, identifying strategies and services to individuals in their home, shelter, and/or community locations (e.g. crisis response or behavioral observation and assessment in home and shelters, etc.). The Clinician II position requires the skills and abilities to assess safety in crisis situations while providing direct therapeutic intervention and support for a diverse population with behavioral health needs. The Clinician II will present as a positive and compassionate therapeutic support at all times.
All services prescribed and provided by a Clinician II must be allowable (billable) through Medicaid and provided as specifically identified and prescribed in the Individualized Mental Health Treatment Plan. All treatment services must be documented per required timeframes, in accordance with federal Medicaid requirements and entered into the Electronic Health Record (EHR), as well as medical EHR's of Managed Care Organizations (MCO's), Behavioral Health Organizations (BHO's), or others per contract requirements.
Position is full time, in person.
