Starting Pay: $25.46 - $26.73 / hour  (DOE)

Compensation is set by agreed to language in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between CCSNW & SEIU 1199NW and determined based on experience.

 

 

Responsibilities

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Overnight Resident Coordinator is responsible for being at the front desk of the Francis Place Apartments, a 42-unit affordable housing program that employs the Housing First model for chronically homeless and disabled single adults in furnished studio apartments with a secured and monitored front door entry.  This position fills the need to have 24-hour monitoring staff on-site to assist staff, residents, guests and visitors. While on shift at the front desk, the Resident Coordinator’s primary focus is  to provide on-site monitoring, program enforcement and assistance for staff, residents, guests and visitors. 

 

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Staff the front desk to include answering the phone, authorizing access to clients and guests, and monitor the security of the building. Enforce CCS policies with residents, guests, and visitors.
  • Conduct routine safety checks of all entry and exit points, ensuring emergency exits are properly used and secure.
  • Ensure upkeep of all common areas by monitoring and addressing issues. Report issues related to appliances, plumbing, heating, or electrical systems to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor behavior, enforce facility rules, and maintain detailed documentation:
    • Log all visitors.
    • Record significant events in a professional and timely manner.
    • Model respectful, supportive interactions with residents.
  • Maintain a welcoming, supportive, and safe environment.
  • Provide residents with information about on-site and public services.
  • Report CCS program violations to the Program Supervisor and/or Community
  • Respond appropriately to facility or resident-related emergencies.
  • Accept and distribute messages and packages.
  • Support case management team by reminding residents of scheduled appointments. Reinforce resident responsibility in maintaining cleanliness in shared spaces.
  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing as indicated on the cleaning tasks list.
  • Conduct routine walkthroughs throughout the facility.
  • Provide residents services and information

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to pass required background checks.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals displaying a wide range of behaviors.

  • Ability to make sound, independent decisions without direct supervision.
  • Proven reliability and dependability in work history.
