• Starting Salar Range: $99,750.14 - $114,712.67 annually

The Clinical Practice Alignment Coordinator serves as a leader, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of clinical integrity, safety, and professional development within our community behavioral health agency. This role focuses on the intersection of clinical oversight, risk mitigation, and staff empowerment through robust training initiatives.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Clinical Oversight & Compliance:
• Clinical File Review: Conduct systematic audits of behavioral health clinical files to ensure services are provided in alignment with FBH Guiding Principles and CCSWW Mission and Values.
• Incident Management: 
• Partner in reviewing Clinical Incident Reports, participates in identifying trends and developing clinical strategies for improving care or mitigating risk. 
• Identify areas of improvement or enhanced safety needed. Are there specific training briefs to develop?  For example, develop a "Dos and don'ts list" pertaining to staff signing any document that is external to CCS.  
• Inform the FBH System Team of the specific issue or need. In collaboration with a colleague, propose potential improvements or clinical strategies for consideration (e.g. clinician allowed youth to participate in unsafe activity without parent knowledge or permission). 
•  Inform the FBH System Team of trends or newly emerging risks (e.g. risk of fentanyl overdoses for teens attending a party). 
• For specific needs, meet with the appropriate clinical or peer supervisor, around coaching needs of the staff involved in the incident. Alternatively, suggest or provide brief trainings to enhance client care.
• Risk Mitigation: 
• Proactively identify potential clinical and operational risks within the agency and collaboratively implement strategies to minimize liability and improve safety outcomes (e.g. what new risks emerge each day pertaining to AI?). 
• Training & Workforce Development:
• Curriculum Development: Work collaboratively to strengthen the comprehensive training curriculum for the agency's "Teaching Clinic" model.
• Specialized Instruction: Act as the lead trainer for Suicide Prevention and Intervention and provide foundational training for staff in Law and Ethics as they pertain to behavioral health. Alternatively, coordinate training for staff in this area. 
• Professional Liaising:
• Psychiatric Coordination: Serve as the primary agency liaison for a contracted psychiatric practitioner group of ten, ensuring seamless communication between psychiatric practitioners (MDs, ARNPs) and clinical teams. 
• Coordinate with FBH's Psychiatric Consultant/Director in various clinical areas. 
• Work with FBH Data Analyst to facilitate quarterly Psych Practitioner meetings or gatherings. 
• Professional Partnerships: Maintain and leverage professional connections with key stakeholders, including Andy Prisco of Hope Reform, Psychologist Jennifer Gertz, and numerous others to support clinical consultation and system enhancement.

HIPAA

• Responsible for upholding a culture of privacy and security in highly confidential work environment (HIPAA covered entity service area).
• Complies with all CCSWW policies and procedures that involve access to and safeguarding of client Protected Health Information (all forms)

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING IN A CANDIDATE:

• Experience: 8-10 years' experience in a community behavioral health setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or quality management role.
• Current clinical licensures such as LMFT, LCSW or LMFT in good standing.
• Two years' experience in Clinical or Quality Improvement work, post licensure. 
• Clinical Expertise: Deep understanding of clinical documentation standards, risk management, and behavioral health law/ethics.  
• Ability to train new staff and to work individually to assist staff struggling with timely documentation. 
• Training Capability: Proven experience in public speaking or clinical instruction and training. 
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and maintain professional relationships with external providers and consultants.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate file reviews and incident reports into actionable agency improvements.
• Collaborative Spirit: Comfortable working across departments to maintain a healthy organizational culture within FBH. 
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for both internal training and external stakeholder management.
• Ability to laugh with colleagues. Must enjoy humor!

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working in a private non-profit system.
• Designated by the state organizational licensing authority as a Mental Health Professional (MHP - Washington) or Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP – Oregon) or meets qualifications for such.
• Experience in provision of Wraparound or Intensive Behavioral Health Services
