Since programming offers integrated mental health and substance use treatment services, the Intake Specialist will complete one assessment that meets state requirements for both scopes of practice, while providing support to the client throughout the clinical intake process.  This position will also be responsible for making referrals to higher level of care settings as appropriate based on unique needs, including referrals for substance use detox and intensive inpatient facilities. Work is performed under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or Clinical Manager, including close collaboration with supervisors to assist with caseload assignments to ensure that clients receive timely and appropriate follow up support to initiate treatment.

Consultation, training, and advocacy are important components of this program. Experience in working with a variety of immigrant populations very desirable. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.  Training for this position will occur in Vancouver and the Tacoma office.
