They will prepare both immediate and long term goals based on the progressive engagement model while providing the support to achieve these goals. Applicants are generally alcohol-dependent and may have co-occurring disorders and histories of trauma. Referrals to the Wintonia are primarily from the Dutch Shisler Sobering Center. The Wintonia provides permanent supportive housing within a Housing First and Harm Reduction model. The Wintonia team works from a multi-disciplinary approach in which all staff coordinate services to promote housing stability in an environment that honors and respects the dignity of each resident. The Wintonia is a 92-single-room-occupancy building in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood serving men and women coming out of King County’s Dutch Shisler Sobering Support Center.   Position Description The Maintenance Tech III is responsible for the properties exterior and interior facility upkeep including managing a preventative maintenance schedule specifically designed for each unique property and its own equipment.  This position is moving into a leadership role and is able to direct self and others to achieve positive property facilities functions. Nativity House (NH), a program of HAS, is the central hub to serve homeless adults in the Pierce County region.   It operates 24-hour/7-day a week, offering services (emergency shelter, meals, systematic outreach, Rapid Rehousing, Mental Health and Co-Occurring Disorder treatment, Employment Services, Spiritual Support, 50 units of permanent supportive housing, etc.) to meet the basic needs of individuals experiencing chronic homelessness guests with meeting their goals.   The Stability Site is a homeless shelter/ meals site that provides 1-3 meals daily (Sunday through Monday), as well as a safe and respectful environment where homeless and low-income individuals in Tacoma and Pierce County may access an array of emergency and supportive services.   Staff in this position provide supervision, program structure, behavior management and a wide range of basic needs services, as well as more advanced social services. This includes helping guests navigate a myriad of social service agencies, forms and interviews. Staffs are trained in behavior management, basic case services, as well as Motivational Interviewing and other counseling skills.

The Property Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations, including the lease-up of new tenants and recertification of current tenants, overseeing the turnover of units, maintenance and building operations, processing accounts payables, accepting rent, supporting and resident services activities, and participating as a member of the management team. The Property Manager will seek to provide tenants with a safe, positive and healthy living environment. Under the direction of the RDPO, the Property Manager: supervises Property Assistants, maintenance staff, and volunteers, ensures compliance with all funder requirements, and is accountable for sound financial management and achievement of key performance indicators of the property. Part-time position at $21.53/hr (D.O.E) ~25 hours/week   Program Description St. Martin de Porres Shelter provides 24/7 enhanced shelter and related services for adult men age45 and older experiencing homelessness. No referrals are needed for entry into the program. Participants run the entire spectrum of needs. Many clients have chronic and acute physical health, mental illness, active addiction issues, and/or trauma. This is a low-barrier, harm reduction program. Advocates are responsible for providing direct service to the participants, assisting with the goal of moving participants quickly into permanent housing, and fostering a team environment among shelter staff and volunteers.
