The DCVM also compiles statistical information about tutor engagement, and networks with other staff who are supporting volunteer recruitment and ongoing training and recognition. The position will focus attention on developing new resources and strategies to increase and sustain donor and volunteer support for the organization, and use email, social media, and other communication tools to build enthusiasm and support for YTP. The DCVM will also develop strategy, with support from the program manager/director, on volunteer recruitment and retention, lead the planning and implementation of fundraising and appreciation events, and nurture and maintain relationships with YTP supporters. The Outreach Case Manager completes HEN eligibility intakes at primary office as well as in various areas of Thurston County. This position helps establish sites where intakes can be conducted so that all applicants do not have to come to the main office. This position also provides Case Management and Crisis Intervention services for identified clients who are having difficulty finding housing, employment, and other resources. This position helps current clients find resources that they can use to transition off the HEN Program. This position helps keep excellent records and helps to assure Consolidated Homeless Grant compliance.

St. Martin de Porres Programs emphasizes moving people into permanent housing through case management. Many clients have chronic and acute mental illness, active addiction issues, and/or trauma. The Mental Health Professional has advanced training, and more years of experience in order to better connect clients with acute needs. The Mental Health professional will also be able to consult with other members of the team about engagement strategies and best practices. They are also responsible for the management of all aspects of the program, staff supervision, regular recruitment and hiring of staff, preparing and managing program budgets and spending, preparing funding applications, maintaining relationships with funders and community leaders, advocating for increased low barrier harm reduction services and permanent housing opportunities that can accommodate this vulnerable population. The Program Supervisor will also be the main point of contact between Starbucks and Catholic Community Services.   The MHP will coordinate with team to conduct individual store and adjacent street outreach in alignment with best practices for safety and client engagement. These positions will engage individuals in designated market areas and help facilitate linkages to resources and housing. Program Purpose:   There are great needs in the African American elder population for these programs to offer resources and support to frail elders.  This gap is due to historical institutional racism in the health care system, lack of cultural relevant services and the lack of outreach to the African American community, specifically community resources African American elders’ use and trust.  The core objective of the AAEP Program is to connect programs with frail African Americas through partnerships with community resources, to identity contact and educate elders and their families and support systems about available programs   The African American Elders Program serves African-American elders in Central and Southeast Seattle and South King County. The program identifies frail, isolated and hard-to-serve African Americans and assists them in accessing and receiving needed social and health services through ongoing case management, support, referrals, and prevent premature institutionalization.     Position Description: The African American Elders Program Manager is responsible for actualizing the mission of the African-American Elders Program.  The mission is to improve the quality of life of isolated, frail, and low-income African-American elders in King County promoting accessible, high quality, culturally appropriate and comprehensive services.  The AAEP identifies isolated African-American elders through outreach and assists them with access to social and health services through ongoing case management, support and referrals.  The Program manager must track effectiveness of services through statistical analysis, consumer feedback, and community surveys.
