This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and generous paid leave.    PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The SKC Shelter programs serve single adults ages 18 and older. These programs directly address the issues of homelessness in South King County by providing a safe place for homeless individuals to rest and receive a nourishing meal, as well as giving them the opportunity to stabilize and work on self-sufficiency through case management. Those who stay at the shelter are provided with case management services which focus on addressing income needs, mental health and CD issues, Veterans’ services, securing permanent affordable housing and health care for each individual. This is low-barrier inclusive program. The Services Manager is a key member of the South King County Leadership team      South King County Shelter provides 24/7 enhanced shelter and related services for adults experiencing homelessness in the area. Some clients have chronic and acute mental illness, active addiction issues, and/or trauma. This is a low-barrier program with a harm reduction approach to the way we provide services. The Services Manager will supervise the Case Managers and Student Interns to ensure that Participants are moved quickly into permanent supportive housing.

Through FHN the Veteran Homeless Prevention program provides supportive services to Veteran households at imminent risk of homelessness, or who have become homeless within the past 90 days. Homeless Adult Services provides 24/7 services to homeless individuals in Pierce County which includes meals, shelter, community socialization and support services.   The Case Manager is a member of the service team for Family Housing Network, a housing program of Catholic Community Services. This position maintains a caseload of homeless families in Guadalupe Vista housing.  This includes developing and implementing client-defined, goal-oriented Family Transition Plans, assessing the needs of homeless families and children, utilizing resources to meet identified individual needs with the ultimate goal of maintaining permanent housing. This position works closely with the Lead Case Manager and Housing Services Director and provides support as requested with the overall objective to provide outstanding case management to all families in the Family Housing Network programs. The case manager works closely with the other case managers and director to address and plan curriculum of life skill and employment related programs to homeless families in FHN programs and other programs throughout the community.

Following best practices in serving individuals with chronic histories of homelessness, CHS has developed several Permanent Supportive Housing Communities (PSH) that follow a Housing First, Harm Reduction based model of services.  As CHS has continued to grow and expand, we have identified a need for leadership and vision for this expanding group of properties in King County   POSITION DESCRIPTION: Property/Program description This is a roving Property Manager position, providing support to varying properties and special projects.  Utilizing highly organized methods and communication, experience and knowledge to readily adapt to supporting various communities as assigned.  This position requires the ability to apply a diverse set of skills, multi-task, prioritize, think creatively, be knowledgeable of policies, procedures, best practices, and take initiative while providing excellent customer service to residents and partnerships with supportive services, community partners and stakeholders.  While covering for properties the roving Property Manager will be responsible for all operations and maintenance and team members.  Special projects may be new hire on-boarding, training, implementation of new software and lease-ups.  Traveling is required and will be compensated as applicable.   This position will manage the day-to-day property management activities on site, and coordinate with the maintenance team for service to their buildings.  Collaborate and coordinate with supportive services for properties that have services.  This is a full -time position that provides administrative functions at varying properties. This is a low-barrier, harm reduction program.   POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Program Director is responsible for the management of all aspects of the Bridge Shelter Program.   The Program Director is responsible for staff supervision, regular recruitment and hiring of staff, management of volunteers, preparing and managing program budgets and spending, preparing funding applications, maintaining relationships with contract monitors, being the staff liaison to fundraising groups, local advocacy, and ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of the facilities. This position manages approximately $1.9 million of funding annually.   The Program Director takes a lead role in advocating for increased low barrier harm reduction services and permanent housing opportunities that can accommodate this vulnerable population.  This requires managing strong relationships with community leaders and funders.    This position directly supervises the Operations Manager, Supportive Services Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, and Advocate Supervisor.

Consultation, training, and advocacy are important components of this program. Experience in working with a variety of immigrant populations very desirable. POSTION DESCRIPTION: The Property Manager is accountable for overseeing and ensuring the financial stability of the affordable housing developments as designated by the Regional Director.  The position oversees housing operations, supervises site staff, coordinates with the Resident Service staff, ensures compliance with safety standards, and regulatory requirements, and is accountable for sound financial management and achievement of key performance indicators of the properties.    To effectively house our residents, housing management staff and services staff strive to cooperate and work in tandem.  Housing management and services staff share common goals: the health and wellbeing of residents and the sustainability of the property.  Support for our residents is the overarching goal that CHS strives to achieve, and each of our employees, no matter what their role is an active participant in striving for that.   The person in this position will work closely and collaborate and communicate on a regular and frequent basis with the Regional Director, Service staff and Facilities staff.   Program Description Sumner Commons Apartments, a Tax Credit program, is a housing program of Catholic Housing Services, consisting of 34 units serving residents who are elderly and/or are disabled with additional subsidy for tenant rent from the Pierce County Housing Authority. Sumner Townhomes, a Tax Credit Program, are 8 townhomes serving families with no additional assistance.
