The Mitigation Site is a sanctioned camp site that provides safe camping for adults experiencing homelessness in Olympia. CCS strives to provide a safe and respectful environment where program participants can access an array of emergency and supportive services and work towards more permanent housing.
Staff in this position provide supervision, program structure, behavior management and a wide range of basic needs services, as well as more advanced social services. This includes helping guests navigate a myriad of social service agencies, forms and interviews. Staff are trained in behavior management, basic case services, as well as Motivational Interviewing and other counseling skills. This position is in charge or maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the site and surrounding area.

Program Description
The South King County Shelter (Anchor) serves adults ages 18 and older. These programs directly address the issues of homelessness in South King County by providing a safe place for homeless individuals to rest and receive a nourishing meal, as well as giving them the opportunity to stabilize and work on self-sufficiency through case management. Those who stay at the shelter are provided with case management services which focus on addressing income needs, mental health and CD issues, Veterans’ services, securing permanent affordable housing and health care for each individual.

Program Purpose
There are great needs in the African American elder population for these programs to offer resources and support to frail elders. This gap is due to historical institutional racism in the health care system, lack of cultural relevant services and the lack of outreach to the African American community, specifically community resources African American elders’ use and trust. The core objective of the AAEP Program is to connect programs with frail African Americas through partnerships with community resources, to identity contact and educate elders and their families and support systems about available programs
The African American Elders Program serves African-American elders in Central and Southeast Seattle and South King County. The program identifies frail, isolated and hard-to-serve African Americans and assists them in accessing and receiving needed social and health services through ongoing case management, support, referrals, and prevent premature institutionalization.
Position Description
The African American Elders Program Manager is responsible for actualizing the mission of the African-American Elders Program. The mission is to improve the quality of life of isolated, frail, and low-income African-American elders in King County promoting accessible, high quality, culturally appropriate and comprehensive services. The AAEP identifies isolated African-American elders through outreach and assists them with access to social and health services through ongoing case management, support and referrals. The Program manager must track effectiveness of services through statistical analysis, consumer feedback, and community surveys. This positions oversees a program assistant, care coordinators, counselors and nurses. This position is responsible for a budget of $1.9 million.

Program Description
Catholic Community Services has been contracted to provide case management services for Seattle Housing and Resource Effort (SHARE). SHARE operates up to 16 democratically operated, self-managed, organized, indoor and outdoor shelters (Tent Cities) throughout King County, providing a safe and empowered place for people experiencing homelessness to stay. Most SHARE indoor shelters and all outdoor communities operate 24/7.
Position Description
The Case Manager is responsible for providing case management services to SHARE shelter/Tent City participants who wish to engage to assist in their housing search. The Case Manager will be responsible for identifying barriers to clients obtaining permanent housing, and connecting clients to resources to assist in overcoming those barriers. This position will work closely with Catholic Community Services programs, Regional Access Points, Rapid Rehousing Teams, and other local resources to assist participants to be able to apply for and obtain permanent housing. This position will require working some days and some evenings, typically Monday through Friday, and the ability to travel to individual shelters to meet clients on site.

Program Description
St. Martin's on Westlake provides 24/7 enhanced and related services for adults experiencing homelessness. Referrals to the program come from King County Coordinated Entry. Participants are typically people who been identified as high needs adults who are eligible for supportive permanent housing. Many clients have chronic and acute mental illness, active addiction issues, and/or trauma. This is a low-barrier program. Janitors are responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility, assisting with light maintenance issues, and fostering a team environment among staff and volunteers.

Bertha’s Place is a 62 unit, non-congregate shelter for people experiencing homelessness. The population served is one third single women, one third couples with a female head of household, and one third people over 55. Bertha’s place is a secure access 24-hour/7-day a week low barrier shelter with the primary goal of helping support residents to regain permanent housing.
The Bertha’s Place Case Manager is a member of the supportive services for Bertha’s place Shelter a program of Catholic Community Services. The goal of this position is to assist guests/clients of the Bertha’s Place Shelter program exit the shelter to permanent housing.

Additional Pay for:

Program/Position Description
St. Martin de Porres Shelter provides 24/7 enhanced shelter and related services for adult men age45 and older experiencing homelessness. No referrals are needed for entry into the program. Participants run the entire spectrum of needs. Many clients have chronic and acute physical health, mental illness, active addiction issues, and/or trauma. This is a low-barrier, harm reduction program. Advocates are responsible for providing direct service to the participants, assisting with the goal of moving participants quickly into permanent housing, and fostering a team environment among shelter staff and volunteers.

Additional Pay/Ability to Earn Additional Pay of:
- Bi-lingual fluency skills in Spanish and English: $100 -200 per pay period (2 times per month) for service provision in support the families we serve. Tiered language stipend based on language proficiency and youth and family needs.
- Coverage after hours: $1,800.00 per year
- Pay based on performance: up to $8,000.00 per year
Training and Supervision:
- Extensive training in multiple clinical approaches as well as training in other areas
- Daily and weekly supervision and support with your Clinical Supervisor, as needed.
