The program assists clients in locating housing, addressing barriers to renting, and provides advocacy on behalf of clients with landlords.   Position Description Housing Case Managers should expect to meet with clients at least monthly and possibly more depending on client needs. They will prepare both immediate and long term goals based on the progressive engagement model while providing the support to achieve these goals. They will also work collaboratively with organizational partners and landlords to ensure housing success. The Lead Position also adds additional responsibility in reporting, training, and availability to other staff. The Lead is expected serve as the first point of assistance for program needs in their program site. The Lead is also expected to take an active role in program reporting and development of best practices.

*An additional $2 will be added to certain positions that have direct contact with clients between now and June 30th 2021, additional information will be provided during interviewing process*   Program Description: Supportive Services for Veteran Families provides Rapid Rehousing services for Veterans experiencing homelessness.  The focus of the program is to assist Veterans and their families in finding a permanent place to call home.  The program is funded through a grant with the Veterans Administration.   Position Description: The Case Manager is a member of the Veterans Services team within Catholic Community Services. This position maintains a caseload of households in the Supportive Services for Veteran Families program. The position includes outreach activities in the community, completing thorough intakes and eligibility screening with referred clients, assessing housing needs and providing financial assistance for housing costs, and assisting clients to secure housing if they are homeless. The Case Manager uses Housing First and Progressive Engagement approaches to engage and work with Veteran households. In addition, the case manager enters client data into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). In collaboration with the service team, the Case Manager is responsible for developing and implementing client-defined, goal-oriented Housing Stability Plans, assessing the needs of referred households and utilizing VA and community resources to meet identified individual needs with the main goal of stabilizing in permanent housing in the shortest time possible.

$17.14 - 18.16/HR DOE  Catholic Housing Services believes everyone deserves the right to a safe, affordable place to call home.  Inspired by this vision, CHS develops, owns and manages affordable housing programs for low-income families and individuals; currently including 2,100 units of housing in 50 different buildings across Western Washington.  Bakhita Gardens is located in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood and serves women exiting homelessness. Noel House provides interim housing for 40 women, and Rose of Lima is a congregate residence of 50 single-room-occupancy dwelling units.  Bakhita Gardens also houses administrative office space, and a ground floor retail space. The building exterior adheres to the neighborhood typology of single-lot prewar brick apartment buildings, while its interior respects program participants’ dignity and need for therapeutic surroundings to move forward from the trauma they have experienced previously. Next to Bakhita Gardens, a sister property stands called Dorothy Day House. Dorothy Day House is a residence for homeless women. The Seattle residence provides 41 single units for low-income adult women, many of whom are disabled. Each unit is furnished with a bed, table, microwave, sink, and toilet. Community baths and kitchens are located on each floor. Rents are based on income.On site staffing supports each resident in achieving and maintaining a level of functioning that will enable each woman to live independently.

Locations Seattle and Kent   PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Housing and Essential Needs is a statewide program and Catholic Community Services has contracted with King County to implement and deliver the prevention services locally. DSHS clients deemed eligible by DSHS (Department of Social and Health Services) to receive prevention funding to cover rental and/or utility expenses. Program staff will be located in offices throughout King County. It is anticipated that 1,700 people will receive assistance through the prevention program in King County.   POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Intake Specialist conducts brief phone assessments with clients to verify initial eligibility and then they schedule qualified clients for a full assessment in the appropriate office. The intake line receives over 3,000 calls a month and staff schedule nearly 2,500 appointments a month. Intake Specialist answers client questions and provide basic information and referral for services in King County. The Intake Specialist assists with the EN bank which sees on average of 50 to 100 clients weekly.

The Wintonia provides permanent supportive housing within a Housing First and Harm Reduction model. The Wintonia team works from a multi-disciplinary approach in which all staff coordinate services to promote housing stability in an environment that honors and respects the dignity of each resident.   Position Description The front desk/lobby area is the communication center of the building, and services are delivered on a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week basis. The Resident Support/Front Desk staff is central to providing a safe and caring environment for the residents of the Wintonia. All staff work collaboratively from a multi-disciplinary approach to ensure residents achieves housing stability in an environment that promotes individual dignity and respect.

These are large units with 3 & 4 bedrooms, two story  with garage and outdoor patio space.  Common spaces include a playground, community room and laundry room for over-size loads.   POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under supervision of the Area Director of Property Operations (ADPO), the Assistant Property Manager is responsible for assisting management with the day-to-day business and administrative operations of this building. The primary role of this team member is to support supervisors and co-workers with day to day business tasks. This team member will also act as a liaison between staff, tenants and community resources.

Responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the programs serving people experiencing homelessness in Clark County and all other counties being served by CSS south of Thurston County.   The Southern Services Director is responsible for the management, successful operations, and growth of the 63 unit Non-Congregate Homeless Shelter, ensuring client exits to permanent housing, safety, contract compliance, preparing and monitoring budgets, grant writing, fund development, continuous program development, and public relations.   The Southern Services Director will support CCS with relationships with local leaders, community support, and public relations related to development of new affordable housing projects in the area.  Is responsible for fulfilling CCS’s goals and mission and for the development and enhancement of within the four counties the comprise the Archdiocese’s Southern Deanery: Clark, Cowlitz, Skamania, and Wahkiakum.

WHEEL Catholic Community Services has been contracted to provide case management services to Seattle Housing and Resource Effort (SHARE).  SHARE operates up to 16 democratically operated, self managed indoor shelters throughout King County, providing a warm, save place for people experiencing homelessness to stay.  Shelters generally open in the evening and participants are expected to leave in the mornings.  POSITION DESCRIPTION The Case Manager is responsible for providing Case Management service SHARE shelter participants who wish to engage in Case Management to assist in their housing search.    The Case Manager will be responsible for identifying barriers to clients obtaining permanent housing, and connecting clients to resources to assist in overcoming those barriers.  This position will work closely with Catholic Community Services  programs, Regional Access Points and Rapid Rehousing Teams and other local resources to assist participants to be able to apply for and obtain permanent housing.  This position will require working some days and some evenings, typically  Monday through Friday, and will require the ability to travel to individual shelters to meet clients on site.
