Position Description The Program Director is responsible for providing daily leadership to the PSH team at Westlake and Ozanam, including: Program Managers, Property Managers, 24-hour resident services staff, case managers, practicum students, and staff from other agencies that provide healthcare and behavioral health services to residents in our buildings. The women we serve are very low income, have experienced long-term homelessness, and live with disabilities that include mental illness and substance use disorders.   Three programs exist in the Bakhita Gardens building: Noel House Enhanced Shelter: 20 semi-private shelter units where homeless women can stay for up to a year while looking for permanent housing; Noel House Permanent Housing: 20 semi-private permanent housing units designed for women who have been homeless the longest and who have the most difficulty navigating systems; Rose of Lima House: 50 single-room occupancy units of Permanent Supportive Housing for women moving out of homelessness. Bakhita Gardens fosters a supportive, team-oriented work environment where each staff provides advocacy, information and referrals to the women using our services.   Dorothy Day House offers 41 single-room occupancy units. It is a resident managed program that is supported by staff that promotes and encourages resident responsibility, independence and individual growth   Position Description The Facilities Manager will primarily be responsible for ensuring that routine, preventative, and emergency repairs and maintenance are conducted in a consistent, efficient and cost-conscious manner within both properties.    This role will directly supervise a Maintenance Technician and 2 janitors, and will take the lead  on all facility safety needs, vendor relations, and will respond to after hours facility emergencies.  This position will ensure that repairs and preventive maintenance are performed and documented for compliance with CCA and King County. This includes outreach activities in the community, completing thorough intakes and eligibility screening with referred clients, assessing housing needs and providing prompt financial assistance as needed for housing costs, and/or assisting clients to secure housing if they are homeless. The case manager actively uses Housing First and progressive engagement while interviewing and working with veteran households. In addition, the case manager enters client data into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). Part-time position at $21.53/hr (D.O.E)   Program Description The Inn Enhanced Shelter Program provides 24/7 enhanced shelter and related services for adults experiencing homelessness.  Referrals to the program come from King County Coordinated Entry program.   Participants are typically people who been identified as high needs adults who are eligible for supportive permanent housing.  Many clients have chronic and acute mental illness, active addiction issues, and/or trauma. This is a low-barrier, harm reduction program.   Position Description Advocates are responsible for providing direct service to the participants, assisting with the goal of moving participants quickly into permanent housing, and fostering a team environment among shelter staff and volunteers.

This includes helping guests navigate a myriad of social service agencies, forms and interviews. Staff are trained in behavior management, basic case services, as well as Motivational Interviewing and other counseling skills.

CCS has rapidly expanded services in this area and has taken on a lead role in developing new resources for people who are homeless in South King County. The South King County Day Centers are located in Federal Way and Kent.   Position Description The Case Manager is responsible for providing case management service to those individuals enrolled in the Day Center program. The Case Manager will coordinate screening, intake and case management service at the locations. The Case Manager will work with participants during the day and will also engage with clients during operating hours.

This low-barrier, harm reduction shelter offers 24-hour services to women experiencing homelessness. In addition to semi-private rooms, the 40 women who reside at BWH also have access to meal programs, volunteer opportunities and case management services. Our goal is to help women stabilize, envision the future and move out of homelessness permanently.   Position Description Women’s Advocates are responsible for creating a safe, welcoming environment, offering assistance and support to the women who reside at BWH, and fostering a team environment among shelter staff and volunteers. As a low-barrier, harm reduction program, staff engage women where they are, using a strengths-based approach and trauma-informed care. All shelter staff are responsible for answering the women’s referral phone line and coordinating immediate shelter placement within our women’s shelter network in Seattle and King County.
